Zoho CRM Twilio Extensions Configuration Guide

Welcome to the Twilio Extensions Configuration Guide. Follow these steps to successfully configure your Twilio extension for optimal performance with your CRM.

Step 1: Accessing the Settings Page

Method 1: Post-Installation Redirection

  1. After installing the Twilio extension, you will be automatically redirected to the Settings page.

Method 2: Manual Navigation

  1. Navigate to the Setting --> Marketplace --> All --> Installed Extensions of the CRM.
  2. Locate the settings under the Twilio Extension and click on it to open the configuration page.

Step 2: Adding SID and Auth Token

  1. On the Settings page, you will see fields labeled Twilio Account SID and Twilio Auth Token.

  2. Enter your Twilio SID and Twilio Auth Token in the respective fields.

  • Ensure that these credentials are correctly entered to enable proper communication between your CRM and Twilio services.

A Twilio Account SID and Auth Token can be found on the Twilio Console dashboard under Account Info as shown below:

Step 3: Selecting Default Phone Fields

  1. Below the API Key and Auth Token fields, locate the section for Default Phone Fields.
  2. Choose the default phone field for Leads from the dropdown menu.
  3. Similarly, choose the default phone field for Contacts.
  • These fields will be used as the primary phone numbers for Twilio operations.

Step 4: Setting Default Country Code and Phone Format

  1. Find the section labeled Choose Your Country Code and Choose Your Default Phone Format (Zoho CRM).
  2. Select Country Code from the dropdown menu. This will be used for all phone numbers in your CRM.
  3. Select your preferred Phone Format from the available options.
  • This ensures that all phone numbers are formatted consistently according to your region's standards.

Step 5: Importing Twilio Numbers

  1. Click on the Import button to fetch and import your Twilio numbers directly into your CRM.
  • This step ensures that all your Twilio numbers are available for use within the CRM environment.

Step 6: Finalize Configuration

  1. Review all the settings you have configured.
  2. You are now all set! Your Twilio extension is configured and ready to use with your CRM.
